Our Fiat’s Florence and Bianca also have a rich history. Their lives began in Italy and they were then imported to Tasmania in the 1960’s. Bianca was donated to us by a long term owner who moved to Melbourne from Tasmania. She was in desperate need of some TLC.
That’s when Derek stepped in..her knight in shining armour to restore her to her original beauty. Her makeover took approximately 10 months, but it was a true labour of love.
Florence was owned by a crazy car collector extrodinaire, Graham (he owns over 80 cars) when we decided we had to adopt her as a sister for Bianca. She is still in her original condition and even wears her original paintwork & 1960’s red seat covers.
We needed a car that had personality, style and vintage appeal for our tours. With Derek’s affinity to old Italian cars and Danielle’s Italian heritage, Fiats were an obvious choice and they also pay homage to the influence of Italian immigration on Melbourne’s lifestyle and culture.
